Uudenmaankatu is one of the main entry routes into Turku, located right next to the city centre and connecting busy car, public transport and pedestrian traffic. At the site, four lanes lead towards the city centre and two towards Kupittaa. The road is extremely busy, with more than 20,000 vehicles passing along Uudenmaankatu every day.
